can I import photoshop brushes into MS5?

If you also have a copy of Photoshop then there is a process you can follow to convert brushes...takes a little work. For instructions see this video [link]

I'm a new convert to digital and a new MS5 user.

Anyone know how I can create my own custom tools in the tool bar? Or, as I'm guessing, if that's not possible, how do I create new sub tools tabs within each tool (not simply renaming what's currently there). Smith Micro support have been a bit rubbish with this so any help would be appreciated!

Yes you can.. 1) Create a new custom tool ( usually from a duplicate of an existing one). 2) click on its picture in the subtool palette and drag it to the tool bar... you can drag it onto an existing icon ( in which case becomes a new tab in that sub tool set or you drag it to the space between icons in which case it becomes a subtool palette of its own containing just that one tool. Now if you want you can drag other tools to that subtool palette, and you can rename the palette.

Just joined, hi all! MS5 user here.
I have a rasterization problem:

Left is original effect, right is what it turns into after rasterization / export / save/ c/p / whatever.
Any suggestions?

I hope in the next updates that MS5 can see .lip files in the preview when you are opening files. I hate to open up every file just to see what it inside.

I'm just saying, even SAI has that option.

Unless my version didn't install right.

Is there somewhere we can ask for features like this to be added?
